Flatbedly is a document scanner. Point your phone's camera at a piece of paper, capture it, and get a flat, straight, evenly lit page you can export as a PDF or image.
Flatbedly does not collect any data about you or your documents. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting service, and no advertising SDK anywhere in the app.
Flatbedly cannot share data it does not collect, and it has no mechanism to send anything anywhere.
There is no networking code anywhere in Flatbedly — no HTTP client, no socket, no SDK that phones home. This is a structural property of the app, not a policy promise. On Android, the release build contains no INTERNET permission, so the operating system itself refuses network access to the app; you can verify this in your device's app settings. The iOS app is built from the same code, with the same absence of networking.
Flatbedly offers one optional, one-time unlock, sold through your platform's store (the Apple App Store, and later Google Play). The transaction is handled entirely by the store: Flatbedly never sees your name, payment details, or billing address. The app keeps only a device-local record that the unlock is owned and a device-local count of scans started in the current month; neither ever leaves your device. Store transactions are governed by the store operator's own privacy policy.
Scanned pages and sessions are stored as plain files in Flatbedly's private app storage on your device. Nothing leaves that storage unless you explicitly export or share it — exported files go where you put them (the Files app on iOS, your Downloads on other platforms) and are yours. Deleting a session or uninstalling the app removes the app's files.
